Directions 

Please note: We recommend visitors who travel by car to make use of the parking facilities of department store De Bijenkorf.

By car coming from The Hague / Schiphol (A4)
Coming from junction 'Nieuwe Meer', follow the signs 'A10 West/Zaanstad'. Take exit 'S106' and follow direction 'Centrum' (via the Cornelis Lelylaan and the Overtoom). At the end of the Overtoom, turn right at the Stadhouderskade ('S100'). Go straight ahead and take the fourth exit to the left (near Heineken Brewery) direction Wetering Circuit. At the Wetering Circuit go straight ahead; you are now on Vijzelgracht, which changes into Vijzelstraat. Go straight ahead until you reach Muntplein. Follow the street which takes a left bend. You now enter Rokin. Continue to drive on this street until you reach Dam Square. Drive straight ahead, pass department store De Bijenkorf on your right and turn right towards the parking facilities behind the department store.
After you have parked you car, walk towards Dam Square. Behind the Monument, you will see Hotel Krasnapolsky. Enter Damstraat to the right of Hotel Krasnapolsky and take the second street to the right.

By car coming from Zaanstad (A8)
Coming from junction 'Coenplein', follow the signs 'A10 West/Den Haag'. Pass the Coentunnel and after a few kilometres take exit 'S106'. From then, follow directions coming from The Hague/Schiphol above.

By car coming from Utrecht (A2)
Coming from A2, follow signs indicating 'Centrum' and 'S110'. Drive across the bridge over the river Amstel and turn right at the stop sign after you have passed the bridge. Continue to drive on this street, Amsteldijk, staying at the left bank of the river. After a few kilometres you reach a T-junction. Turn left here ('S100', Stadhouderskade). Take the second street to your right, Vijzelgracht, which changes into Vijzelstraat. From then on, follow directions coming from The Hague/Schiphol above.

By car from Amersfoort / Almere (A1)
From junction 'Watergraafsmeer', follow the signs 'A10 Zuid/Den Haag'. After a few kilometres, take exit 'S112'. Then follow the signs indicating 'Centrum' and 'S112'. Drive on Gooiseweg until you reach Amstel Station (to be seen on your left). On the Prins Bernhardplein roundabout, turn right entering Wibautstraat. Continue to drive on this street until you reach the junction with Mauritskade ('S100'). The 'Wibauthuis' can be seen here at your right. Turn left and cross the river Amstel. Take the second street to your right, de Vijzelgracht, which changes into Vijzelstraat. From then on, follow directions coming from The Hague/Schiphol above.

By foot from Centraal Station (about 10 minutes)
Take the main exit and cross the square. Follow Damrak until you reach Dam Square. Behind the Monument, you will see Hotel Krasnapolsky. Enter Damstraat to the right of Hotel Krasnapolsky and take the second street to the right.

By tram from Centraal Station (about 5 minutes)
From the square in front of the station, it is possible to take trams 4, 9, 24 or 25. These trams all make a stop at De Bijenkorf on Dam Square. Behind the Monument, you will see Hotel Krasnapolsky. Enter Damstraat to the right of Hotel Krasnapolsky and take the second street to the right.
